A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Focus To Win

The Special Election May 15, 2007

Folks, do you want to win? Are you tired of taxes and traffic? Do you feel just a little guilty about not doing enough for your community? WELL NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY. The following is a message from David Hernandez:

Luck, when opportunity and preparedness meet.

The opportunity to add another Conservative Republican Voice to the California State Legislature has been presented to Republicans in Los Angeles County. The challenge is whether Republican Leaders as well as grassroots volunteers have the ability and vision to seize the moment.

The Special Election for the 39th State Assembly District has give Republicans the opportunity of a political lifetime. In a district thought untouchable by Republicans, we find it is ours for the taking.

Ours for the taking; provided we act now and with focus and conviction to win. With a projected voter turn out of less then 8% we can win this seat with 4,500 votes. Time to act and engage, as the window of opportunity will be lost if we fail to engage.

To be a part of this historic regime change in the heart of Latino Democratic politics, Contact Republican David Hernandez at 818 448 3403 or at drhassoc@earthlink.net.
Become a member of those who are in the trenches to elect Jose Bonilla to the 39th Assembly Seat.  Volunteers are needed for walking precincts and calling voters.

If you want to find out more come to the Republican Coalition forum next Wednesday night. See details below.

FEATURE SPEAKER
EVAN SAYET

My mother used to tell me there are two kinds of people: Those that memorize jokes and those that possessed a natural wit. She also told me that it was “original thinkers” that drove this world. In both these instances we have a rare bird in our midst. Evan Sayet has a natural wit and is also an original thinker. To hear him describe the motivation of the elitist in the Democratic Party is to be constantly frozen in a state of, "I have never looked at it that way before." Evan is on his way to lead the Conservative Movement nationally so this may be your last chance to come and mingle with the gentleman. Jeffers

Future Speakers

  1. Larry Greenfield will be joining us to discuss the Defense of the Western World.
  2. Larry Elder will join us to discuss a yet to be determined issue....

Future Events

  1. Two of our Advisory Board Members have bought a law suit against the City of LA to have Proposition R overturned. It is being called the David and Goliath case. It seemed the Goliath blinked and David (and Ted) have the City Council on the run. The hearing has been rescheduled for June 5th.
  2. The Coalition is undergoing a name change. It is dropping the word coalition and replacing it with Alliance. This process may takes months to complete.
  3. The Coalition is teaming up with the Democratic Economic Liberty Foundation to schedule a debate on the pro and cons of Free Market Capitalism and Socialism.

Presidential Candidates: Each of the presidential candidate's pictured BELOW has a link to their website. We encourage you to visit each of them frequently as various issues come to mind. We believe that it is to early to be absolute certain which candidate is the right one. We need to hear from them all. I know which ones I like. Come to the meeting and lets discuss our choices. You can also vote for your choice in our straw poll that can be found on our website.

David Hernandez and Ted Hayes will talk about immigration reform and the impact illegal immigration has had on the African American community and why it is vital that the consequences of uncontrolled immigration be part of the immigration reform dialogue. From slave ships to the auction blocks to the plantation to the fight for civil rights and equality in America the pathway to citizenship of the African American cannot be devalued.

I will moderate the discussions and also comment on all of these subjects. I will also comment on our progress as an organization and what we are trying to achieve.

We want to here from you too. So please join us Wednesday night for great and inexpensive Italian food and lively political discussion.

Thank you,

Jeffers Dodge
