Inside: Join us as we discuss developing a strong Conservative Network and ways we can deliver our message to City Hall, Sacramento and Washington DC. When Where Who should come Why What is a 21st Century Conservative? Conservatism is a broad tent and I define my place in this group by the following principles: I believe in Martin Luther King’s proposition and paraphrase it this way, “That we should judge a person not by their gender or race but by their character, talent and ability.” Look first to their family, friends and faith and then to their chosen fields. These things will tell you a lot about a man. On fiscal matters I believe, “Most social issues, such as poverty, crime, gangs and bad education, can be solved with Conservative Fiscal Policies and those that can’t, such as same sex marriage and abortion, should be left to the providence of the people in the state where they live, work, pray and raise their families. War; I believe, is a natural state of mankind – good verses evil. That is why we must maintain the strongest military in the world to maintain peace, so long as we are the most noble nation on earth. Government is instituted to protect its citizens from those that want to harm them both internally and externally. And finally businesses are made up of ordinary people and the leaders of these businesses should adhere to one immutable value “Profit with Honor. ”This is what I call the “21st Century Conservative” [top] The Mission of the Los Angeles Republican's Alliance We started the Alliance as a means to reach out to potential new Republicans searching for information on what it means to be a Republican in Los Angeles County. We also added many of the local Republican clubs and organization’s logos with links to their websites at no charge and a sophisticated online calendar. Many of these potential new Republicans are re-registering, turning 18, or just moving into the county. Many Republicans want to do more than vote, they want to get involved but do not know where to go or who to contact. We provide the answers. Also, I recognized that one of the best ways to compete with the Democrats is to come up with better ideas. This alone is not a difficult challenge; the challenge is how do we get the message distributed to non Republicans? Since Media and Entertainment are my areas of expertise my focus is to develop content in the form of TV, radio, print, documentaries and Internet advertisements that brand in a positive light the Republican Party and the Conservative movement by illuminating our common values and breaking the negative stereotypical myths promoted by our opposition. Republicans are the underdogs in LA County and we are the rebels.
